Support Offices
Moog FCS prides itself in being able to provide excellent and extensive product support for all customers, worldwide. Downtime of the system must be kept to a minimum therefore critical spare parts, tools and test equipment are available, ex-stock, from Moog FCS offices in Europe, the U.S. and Australia.
USA
A major part of Moog FCS’ business is in North America, hence the Moog FCS decision to set up a support office in the US almost 10 years ago. Mr. Marlon Gordon is the main point of contact in that office. He has extensive experience in the area of simulators in general and is perfectly able to ensure seamless integration of the control loading and motion systems with the simulator’s structures, host computer and visual systems.
Also IMPEX INC., Moog FCS’s exclusive representative in America, operates a 24 hours “hot-line” in Tulsa. IMPEX, an Oklahoma Corporation established in 1992, has a long standing, mutually exclusive strategic alliance with Moog FCS and looks after the business interests of Moog FCS in North and South America. Moog FCS products and services are offered in the Americas by IMPEX at Moog FCS' published price, with no mark up of any kind. They are a simulator engineering company located in Tulsa, Oklahoma, with a small, but highly experienced team of specialists with proven track record in the simulator industry. Apart from providing services to commercial airlines and simulator operators around the world in relocating, modifying, upgrading and obtaining Government certification for flight simulators, they provide custom software design and development, installation, integration, tuning and customer support services for Moog FCS products in the Americas. IMPEX is a minority owned small business and has obtained 8(a) certification from the Small Business Administration. They maintain an active status on the Defense Logistics Agency's Central Contractor Register.
Far East
Mr. Gerrit-Jan Kooij, who worked with Moog FCS in the Amsterdam head-office for a number of years as a lead engineer and as a product manager, represents Moog FCS in South East Asia, Australia and New Zealand. Thanks to his knowledge of the Moog FCS products and the long-standing relationship with Moog FCS and customers, he successfully supports clients in that region through his Australia based company Atkom, Ltd..
Europe
Besides the several support offices located across the world, Moog FCS provides direct product support from Amsterdam.
Maintenance Instructions
Moog FCS' systems are delivered with a complete set of documentation including a manual for Installation, Trouble shooting and Maintenance. The maintenance is limited to some visual checks only; preventive maintenance is not required.
Courses
To make the customer familiar with the Control Loading systems Moog FCS offers an Operation and Maintenance Course. This course introduces the user to the basic principles of operation of the system. It includes basic trouble shooting and first line maintenance information. The course can be extended to include the calibration of the control loading systems.
Moog FCS also offers a Generic Modeling Course. This course introduces the user on how to develop his own flight control loading models, using the Moog FCS Software Development System.
Spare Parts
Due to the modular design, defective parts can be exchanged easily. Moog FCS holds a stock of spare parts in Amsterdam as well as in Tulsa (Ok), U.S.A. and Sydney, Australia.
Repair Capabilities
Moog FCS offers repair capabilities for defective parts. For emergency cases Moog FCS offers an exchange service: at the moment the customer sends a defective part to Moog FCS for repair, Moog FCS sends a replacement part to the customer.
Technical Advice
Moog FCS engineers are available to answer technical questions related to the Control Systems. Installation and tuning of the Control loading system is also offered by Moog FCS.

Mechanical Design
The linkage of a control loading systems has direct influence on the “feel” of the system. Besides providing you with the most effective Control Loading hardware and Software Moog FCS also offers mechanical design. Moog FCS provides design and manufacturing services for mechanical linkages between the flight controls and the actuators as part of a turnkey control loading system with the highest fidelity of simulation.
